成人直播网站 President Peter Kilpatrick鈥檚 next guest for his speaker series is 成人直播网站 legal scholar Helen M. Alvar茅, MA 1989, who will discuss how 成人直播网站 organizations can adopt a new approach to advocating for the centrality of the Church鈥檚 moral teaching to their mission. The will be held at Heritage Hall in Father O鈥機onnell Hall.

Alvar茅 is Robert A. Levy Endowed Chair in Law and Liberty at George Mason University鈥檚 Antonin Scalia Law School, teaching, publishing, and appearing in national media to discuss issues impacting marriage, family, and religious freedom.

The event is part of the ongoing Presidential Speaker Series, an initiative by President Kilpatrick to bring prominent figures to campus to foster dialogue on important issues that impact the University community and beyond. The conversation is inspired by Alvar茅鈥檚 most recent book Religious Freedom after the Sexual Revolution: A 成人直播网站 Guide.

鈥淗elen is one of the most gifted and compelling speakers I have ever heard,鈥 said Kilpatrick in a statement, where he explained that the topic is timely because understanding the Church鈥檚 teaching is critical to defending religious freedom. 

Alvar茅 has advised the U.S. bishops and the Vatican. She previously taught at the Columbus School of Law, earned a master鈥檚 degree in systematic theology from the University and received a law degree from Cornell University School of Law.

鈥淪he is bright, articulate, and passionate. And her topic is critical to understanding the world we live in today,鈥 said Kilpatrick.
